Motivation Monday - Richard's Insight
I love this quote from such a brilliant thinker. It's all about having a 'you focus' rather than a 'me focus'.
If we are truly honest with ourselves, most of us are selfish, or at least self-interested and this then leads to us having needs, wants and desires that we aim to satisfy. It's not a bad thing, it is just a natural thing really.
Ironically, if we have a desire to be 'successful', whatever that means to us personally, it could potentially lead us on the wrong path. Why? Well, if we set out to serve our own self-interest that may or may not be what other people value. However, as soon as we start to listen, observe and understand what other people need, want or desire...we can then deliver to them in ways that they truly value.
People will naturally accept what we have and offer...be that a product, service or just our thoughts and ideas...when they see the value from their own perspective.
Be of value...and then success will follow automatically 🙂
