"Go big or go home"
Eliza Dushku
Motivation Monday - Richard's Insight
The actual origin of this quote is open to question, however, that does not change things too much. Anyway, what's wrong with a bit of Buffy or Angel from time to time? OK, so at the risk of leaving you with the wrong impression, let's leave the TV series references there for a moment lol
Getting back on track...
The idea of this quote is to help us look at the bigger picture, face up to risk and take courageous action to reach our goals, dreams and aspirations.
Go big or go home is a short rally cry for us to consider tackling larger projects, lifting our horizon and appreciating that sometimes we have to bet big to win big.
This could, of course, scare the bejeebers out of some, or indeed, many of us I imagine!
I am not talking about being reckless here, you will be glad to know...
What I am saying is that it often takes as much time and effort to work on a bigger project as it does on a smaller one. The difference can often be in the overall return to us, or our 'return on time investment' (ROTI).
This idea of ROTI is making me think about bigger & different types projects and a different time horizon. Many BTL investors are being put off by recent policy and tax changes. One response is to think differently, to think bigger, to think ROTI. That's certainly one of my objectives for 2016 at least...how about you?
