Motivation Monday - Richard's Insight
Sometimes we get dealt a bad hand in life. We could feel that we were born at the wrong time or in the wrong place. Maybe we didn't do too well at school, in a career, business, personal relationship, sport, pastime or something else in life that we thought was important. Well, I am here today to let you know that these circumstances and events need not define our ultimate destiny and permanently shape who we are and what we will become in life.
If a man can spend 27 years in prison and then lead his country as President out of a potential civil war, just as Nelson Mandela did, then we too have hope that our tomorrow may not be the same as our yesterday.
It begins with a decision - to change.
The decision then leads to a belief - for change.
The belief then leads to an action, repeated - leading to change.
That's it - decide - believe - act - repeat...and you will surely make great strides to becoming the person you were always capable of being. It may not look exactly the same as you had first imagined, but that's because who we are destined to become is not who we always think we should become. Just as Nelson Mandela did not believe he would one day be the leader of his country.
Start today with a decision to change...it could change all of your tomorrows for good!
